Hello everyone, welcome back and hope you all had a lovely Easter.

Moonee Valley Festival

Its now around the 19th year our dancers have performed at this Festival however, this year we were on a different stage, in another part of the park, which was a bit of a change, but all went well and once again the weather was fine, we all had a good time  and our dancers were fantastic!............as usual.

Term 2 Dates Classes resume Monday 20th April, 2009 through to and including Saturday 27th June, 2009. Please note that we are open on Anzac Day (25/4) and Queens Birthday (8/6)

Teachers

We welcome back our regular team of teachers – Helen, Rebecca, Sherrianne, Leroy, Hannah, Kylie, Shane C, Leanne, Joel, Melinda.

SO WHAT’S HAPPENING DURING TERM 2, 2009? BOP TILL YOU DROP: Sunday, 10th May, 2009   STUDENTS OWN CHOREOGRAPHY DAY Sunday 31st May, 2009     REHEARSAL FOR MID YEAR PERFORMANCE Friday, 19th June, 2009      MID YEAR PERFORMANCE CABARET Sunday 28th June, 2009      CASUAL WEEK          Monday 6th July to Saturday 11th July.

EXAMS/ MEDALS/ ASSESSMENTS

Classes in term 2 will step up a gear towards exams, medals and assessment work which will be examined later in the year.
In specific exam/medal classes you learn set work relevant to the style of dance and level.  Through repetition of work, technical advice and practice towards a goal at the end, a student’s technique, strength, confidence and ability are improved and we highly recommend you take part.
